The Balfour Hotel Miami Beach, Miami Beach

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The small size of the property may not be for everyone, but the rooms were impeccably clean, quirky, and stylish.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were gorgeous, well-decorated, and very contemporary, with a huge bed and a very nice shower. One of the rooms I stayed in had 2 double beds, a TV, CD player, a mini-bar, and even a mood sound machine. The service was top-notch, responsive to our concerns, especially thanks to Rosa and Richard the Doorman, who were always friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent, situated on Ocean Drive away from the noise but still close enough to walk to the action. The dining experience was fine, with delicious coffee and lots of options. The facilities were well-equipped and exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is ideally located just a block from the beach in the heart of Ocean Drive, offering a quiet oasis amidst the vibrant surroundings. While the rooms are compact, they are comfortable and feature stunning artwork. The friendly service is a definite plus, but some issues with discounts and beach towel quality were noted.

The hotel has clean and nicely decorated rooms, but some aspects like noise levels, weird comforter, and poor lighting can be off-putting. On the plus side, it's conveniently located near shopping areas, bars, and restaurants, but lacks a view of South Beach. The service from the staff is friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable, but there are issues with Wi-Fi and room amenities. Dining options are limited, and the facilities could use some improvements.
